20 years old. The age of a typical emerging artist in Brisbane starting their career. It is also the age of a long- standing company that has supported hundreds of emerging artists across these past two decades.
This year in Vena Cava Productions will celebrate 20 years of putting emerging artists’ work into the world. Our birthday celebration is not only a nod to our history, but more importantly a hail to the future and the art that we are making right now.
With a variety of short performances that showcase the diversity of our artists across dance, performance art, stand up comedy, music, spoken word poetry and visual art, not to mention some daggy speeches and confetti.
